really wanted to like these shoes, but the material is incredibly stiff and unforgiving. While I expected a bit of a break-in period, the construction is so hard that it lacks any natural flex, making every step feel labored. ​The biggest deal-breaker, however, is the tongue design. It is unusually long and rigid, constantly digging into the front of my ankles/lower legs as I walk. After just a few hours of wear, it caused noticeable bruising and skin irritation. Unless you plan on wearing very thick, tall socks to create a barrier, the constant friction and pressure make these nearly impossible to wear comfortably.

The shoes feels a little stiff, maybe because they are fairly new. Feels like a lot less padding inside, the look and style is a hit with me and friends that have comments about how the looks. Overall they are a good purchase but would buy for long distance walking.
