Best gift ever, he hasn't taken them off!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these as a gift for my boyfriend and they were a total hit. He says they are incredibly soft and comfortable for all-day wear. Best of all, they are 100% waterproof, he’s already tested them out in wet conditions and they kept his feet completely dry. Definitely worth every penny!

Not a LOW enough low hiker.
The newer Strata is not really a LOW hiker. The sides of the shoe hit my ankle bone and were uncomfortable. The previous year’s model was about 3/4 inch lower so it wasn’t an issue. I ordered them online and had to return them for poor fit. I don’t want to have to add heel inserts to a brand new shoe to make it fit. Columbia shouldn’t change (raise) the upper edge of a shoe without better testing to see how it works with actual wear.

Great all around shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing these for a few weeks as a work shoe. They prove to be waterproof and comfortable. The rugged toe cap protects them from bumps and scrapes.

Poor Quality Control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited about these shoes, but the quality control is incredibly disappointing. Right out of the box, you can see a thick, shiny line of glue residue all around the sole connection. To make it worse, the light grey section arrived with dark smudge stains. They look like factory defects or seconds rather than a brand-new, premium pair of trail shoes. Definitely not the quality I expected from Columbia.
