This set is simply lovely, better than the photos depict. The floral fabric is textured and has an expensive, almost silky feel, and the striped side is soft and smooth. The weight is good for all seasons, in my opinion, and I live in New England. I am very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great comforter set! First off, I really prefer a comforter to a duvet and cover. So much more convenient. This one has so many extra pieces that feel likes bonuses as well! The throw pillows are very cute and really add to the look. The bed skirt and sham covers are great too. I didn’t use the latter two pieces in the photo as that bed frame doesn’t need a bed skirt, but it’s very well made and I will be using it in the future. I really appreciated that the fabric didn’t smell right out of the package as can sometimes be the case. I know I’m going to wash it, but it just makes me nervous that there might be some weird chemicals in there. We used this on our guest bed and our guests loved it! That room is located in our basement so it can get a little chilly, even in the summer, but they said they had a perfect nights sleep. Very happy with this set and would purchase another.
