Plastic blade cover, no elegant design, and simple handle, but the blade is top metal and sharp, sharp, sharp. Be careful the knife is super sharp. It is easy to cut your fingers if you don't pay attention. Be careful!
Hands down the best pairing knife I have every used. Sharp...feels great in your hand and gives you the percision needed when working in delicate cuts! Highly recommend and the green color is awesome.
