First of all, the dress is beautiful and fit me great. It was half off, which got me even more excited and there was only 1 dress left in my size. That being said, when I opened the shipping box and took the dress out of the packaging I noticed right on the front of the dress there were 2 very noticeable snags and pulls maybe from where women had tried on the dress and their jewelry had gotten caught on the material. I took the dress to a tailor to see if it was worth trying to fix the issues, but she pointed out other issues that would be harder to fix/hide. Reluctantly, I decided to return the dress to Macy's. I showed the sales associate the issues with the dress and she was polite and said okay. I'm disappointed that Macy's would sell a dress that had such obvious cosmetic issues, even for half price. I probably won't order a formal dress online again.
