Hi, I recently purchased the CookFresh Digital Glass Steamer (STM-1000) and have some questions about the materials used in parts that contact water or steam during operation, since I saw more plastic than what I expected from this product. Could you please provide the following information: What material is the internal heating chamber (where water is heated into steam) made of? Stainless steel, aluminum, or something else? What material is the tubing that carries water from the reservoir to the heating chamber? What material is the steam tower (attached to the lid) made of? If it's plastic, what type (PP, PPS, etc.)? What material is the tubing that carries steam from the heating chamber to the steam tower? I'd appreciate any technical documentation or material safety information you can share. Thank you.

Love this steamer!! It is such a game changer and I use it everyday!
I was surprised to find the steamer didn't have an automatic low water shut off at that price. Additionally, the water reservoir couldn't be filled without removing during cooking. Both features found in like priced machines. I was pleased with how it performed but did miss the advantage that might have been found in a double level steamer. I feel I relied too heavily on brand but also myself for not reading features more carefully.
quality made and controls simple and easy to use. cleaning is a breeze too. Food is perfectly steamed per programmed selections or manual control. Pause and reheat options are an added plus.
This is the best steamer that I have ever owned. I use this steamer for everything. My favorite thing to steam is seafood. I have been buying 10 dozen little neck clams and eating them with my wife. The clams that are left over are cooked and put in to a spicy marinara sauce. Love this steamer and highly recommended it!!!
I chose this steamer to cook meals in a way that I feel is safer. Microwaves and air fryers are less safe for health. Steaming with clean water seems so much better. This unit is easy to operate, accurate and easily cleaner and set up.
I received this as a gift and it's replaced my previous method of steaming and reheating food. The clean up easy being in a glass container, and safer too without food smells building up. I really enjoy the volume of food I can fit without the tray, but the downside is a water does pool at the bottom making stuff soggier. I'll be honest, haven't read thru the instructions yet, so maybe it'll tell me in there, but when doing manual steaming, there's no timer built in, the clock counts up instead of being to set one to count down. Otherwise, it's a great tool and I'm really enjoying all the uses out of it
We love this steamer. It is very easy to use and sets up very quickly. The control panel is very easy and intuitive. It cleans up easily too. Love it!
With this steamer I am able to steam veggies at the beginning of the week and that makes the week less stressful, and I am able to eat healthier as this steamer is easy to use and steams perfectly!
Was hoping it would hold more vegetables and could stream them more quickly. My steamer basket does about the same time and holds slightly less than this. Also, simply cannot STAND the piercing alert tone. It should have a way to change the pitch. It literally hurts my and my dogs ears. Way too shrill.
