I haven't had anything like this router ever so It's WOW! I live in a small unit with a wall to wall neighbor attached because it's a duplex and I needed something with a high security to kick the neighbor off of my service because he's constantly on me. I know this because service suddenly got better when I set this beautiful RT-AX1800 up and secured it he went crazy not able to attach. Thank You Very much Asus

In short, it works like one would hope. It's reliable, connecting to the wireless signal is quick, and it provides excellent signal strength throughout my mid-sized home and when I'm outside in the yard.
My old ASUS was from 2019 and all of a sudden, I had a dead zone and could not make calls from my office. Installed this router and problem solved......
Weak signal, running in 3 houses and all have issues. They are 30' apart (main from node) and node isn't reliable. And 5g on the node is weak at 10'. I have optimized several times.

So far so good, I have used every unit out there as my netgear unit failed after 5 months, my job recommended the Asus brand router so we will see how it holds up as I need to pull a lot of video for work.
The easiest routers to set up just normal use may be 14 devices max on wifi . unit is faster replaced another brand 14years old use for streaming , web surfing worth every penny I would recommend .
