It’s a powerful little light but be warned - MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT ATTACH THE LIGHT TO THE MEDIA MOD BACKWARD BECAUSE IT WILL GET STUCK!!!! I wished they’d put some kind of marking on the media mod or light to prevent you from accidentally attaching it backward (as I did since I was in a hurry). As of now I’m still trying to figure out how to take the light off the media mod without breaking anything, it’s still stuck!!
I bought this light to go along with my media mod for my GoPro 11. It Worked well until the white cover fell off. It got lost and cant find another one. I wish it would be a tighter fit or find a replacement. Without the white filter its too bright and doesn't disperse light good without it. Wish they would make it stay on better or at least have replacement pieces for this!
1. I only bought this because I didn't fully read the description, that is on me. 2. The picture used for this light makes it seem as though the media mod would be included with the light. After receiving the light mod today I realized the mistake, and I'll own that. I gave this review because of the main picture used when selecting the light mod makes it seem as though the media mod, which I now know is a different piece altogether, would be complete with the light mod.
Really love this light; the light itself is well thought out and totally worth buying. My only complaint really is around the diffuser and that you can't have it on with the charge door open... I can't understand why there isn't a small cutout on the side of the diffuser so the charge door doesn't open into it... maybe user error somehow, or maybe just one of life's mysteries.
The light is easy to charge, turning it on is easy, reflective light is excellent for close ups
Hace su trabajo y lo hace bien. Es una luz que es mucho más pequeña en persona, pero su potencia en cuanto a la iluminación que genera supera las expectativas que genera al ver el Light Mod por primera vez. Solo viene en caja el Light Mod, el cable, el protector de luz o difusor y un Mount. No viene el clip. Vale la pena la compra, va a hacer un excelente trabajo en las grabaciones con gopro. Lo recomiendo.
This “light mod” contains the exact light as the Zeus Mini, however this version is just the light with no magnetic swivel clip, but costs the same as the zues mini. This should be half the price for the lack of clip. There is no advantage to buying this instead of the Zues mini, only benefit is that GoPro gets a better profit. @GoPro this price needs to be adjusted, or just delete this product listing. Your support team lies and claims this version can recharge off of the media mod, which is absolutely untrue. The Zues mini is an amazing amazing product (maybe even make a bigger Zues Sr bigger light?) , but this listing seems like a mistake or but it’s very anti consumer
This small little light is so powerful! It has a very helpful defuser which is good for photography, totally worth buying it.
this light with the case include? or only the light?
Well, this makes absolutely NO sense. I bought this light for the purpose of using it for an upcoming snorkel trip. The light itself is waterproof, but the case you have to use with it (the Mod Case), IS NOT WATERPROOF... makes zero sense. Give us another case option to be able to use this thing underwater.
