I needed this for my foodtruck to film myself and my food but it dies less than 20 mins of recording time. And the little shot that I got runs at x2 speed for some reason. Im super salty for what i paid for.

I really like this mount quite a lot, I just wish the magnets were a bit stronger. I really like how strong the bite is on it and I really appreciate how many places I've found to use this mount. Just not great for real action activities.
Very strong! Successfully lasted 2 years clipped to the side of a boat used in salt water (also several nights submerged in the sea after getting dropped overboard !) before finally breaking, buying a replacement straight away

The mounting buckle breaks too often, and they don't sell them separately :/ They should sell them in 10 packs as how often these plastic parts break :/ And if I buy the cheap noname replacements, those are even worse!
I never expected to like this clip that much! it is very very helpful! I wish the swivel was available with other stands too! would definitely recommend if you are looking for a budget stand.
I saw some reviews here about the weak magnet, and would like to offer a different perspective. I was able to mount my volta + gopro 11 magnetically on a lamppost by positioning the magnetic portion of the clip towards the top. The magnet had weaker attraction with alloyed metals.. but i think that applies to any magnet too. Clip was very strong. I clipped it to my car door handle and drove slowly for some cool footage (20kph)
I had previously used a dedicated shoulder strap with camera mount for my BCD when scuba diving, but when I need to detach it from my straps, it was a real hassle to do so, especially with thick gloves on and because I was fussing about with my camera there were things I missed filming and regret so to this day. Now, with this Magnetic Swivel Clip, I can attach my camera to any strap and whatever position I want on my BCD on it and the clip holds my GoPro very well, even when entering water from a boat; it also easily detaches when needed and clip back on without a second thought, even with 3-5 mm gloves on. My big advice when doing this is that you still have a strap or some cable attachment that loops around and binds to the plastic camera mount so even if the clip were to fail, it will still be attached to your BCD and it will dangle, allowing you to reattach the clip to strap (hasn't happened to me yet but just in case, you don't want to lose your expensive GoPro). I haven't tried the magnet attachment on back, but that's not what I am using it for since there's very little metal on my BCD to snap it to, also I don't trust it completely like I do the clip itself. Overall, very versatile and definitely a game changer when I can quick detach and reattach my camera to my BCD jacket strap when I need it, definitely worth the money to get the name brand clip!
This is nothing more than an expensive clip, the magnet is rubbish, it won’t hold the camera on an angle beyond 45’ without falling off. And saying it can be used as a kick stand is only true if you are using to point up otherwise it overbalances, you can not point this forwards or down, if you turn it round the clip is in shot and point forwards it falls over.
