I bought NXT Black in both thickness 16g and 17g. The 17g did hold 1.5hrs before breaking. Not for top-spin player. I was trying to find a softer alternative to ALU Power 16L. 17g was worse than 16g (see picture). Black coating is not good at all, maybe Natural has a different performance.

I am a 5.0 rated player and I have been dealing with arm issues, went from an all poly string bed to a hybrid using the Element as my Poly and the NXT as a cross, and it has made a difference in my arm after matches. Downside is durability, string last about 3 sets.
Outstanding comfort, control, power, and touch. Does it all, and very well. I sometimes try other strings but end up cutting them out and returning to NXT 16.
