Spring Step Nespea Women's Booties with Waterproof Construction

These shoes are not true to the American size shoes. I had to keep returning and size up twice. I really like the shoes their unique and different. The first time I received the shoes and tried them on it left black markings on my carpet from the sole. The second pair I received the right shoe was irregular. Meaning the top of the leather by the ankle was stretched out really wide. I hope I have better luck with the third pair when they arrive.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the finish on these shoes. I purchased two pairs, one in black and one in taupe (beige), and both had significant quality issues. The black pair leaves black paint or dye residue on both the floor and your hands whenever you touch the sole. The taupe pair has an inconsistent-looking sole because the material is slightly translucent. As a result, the area where the leather meets the sole appears much darker than the rest, making it look uneven and poorly finished. I’ve never purchased a pair of shoes from Macy’s with this level of poor craftsmanship. The only positives are that the design is stylish and unique, and the sizing is accurate. Those are the only reasons I’m giving these shoes 2 stars instead of 1.

I like this brand, Spring Step, and these booties are beautiful and unusual in black. They are also water resistent. They look like they are good quality too and I hope to wear them later this year for an event.
