Marmot Women's Minimalist Pertex Pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are great. My wife was way more excited about them than I expected and she really loved the fit. They were accurate to size. They pull on easy over her pants and were even better fit when worn over her fleece tights and she was really in love with the look as well. I just wanted to make sure she was ready for the inevitable day of rain on our planned camping trips along the east coast and these were a great option. We paired this with a Marmot Gortex jacket and water sheds off of both. I think the Pertex is a little softer and more breathable. but both were great and a perfect match.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like these pants. I sized up to a Medium (typically a Small) as I primarily envision wearing these over pants or leggings. These are a little baggy but give me a good range of motion. I took off a star as these are insanely long! Way too long, and they are not the Tall version. I could easily lose 4-5 inches of material before these would fit right. Material breathes well, is lightweight, and definitely waterproof. Flexible and stretchy to hike in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whoa, these pants are so nice! I wear them over my leggings whenever it’s raining and I have to leave the house. It’s water and wind proof.l, so the durability is pretty solid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you notice about these pants is how lightweight they are and they pack down extremely tiny in the bottom of your backpack to the point you don’t even notice they are there. I’m sure the real game changers are the 3/4 length side zippers that will make it easy to pull over hiking boots. These also have zippered pockets that will keep whatever you have in there as dry as a bone. Since these are so lightweight you won’t overheat or feel uncomfortable having these over any other clothing. My only complaint is that since these are minimalist these don’t have any belt loops or any other super adjustable features beyond the basics.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very light weight and the design of them is super comfortable. They are waterproof and wind proof. The sizing is very true to size as I normally wear a med and got a med and they fit perfectly. They do have an adjustable waist if you need to tighten them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only reason these didn’t get a higher rating is because they appear to be made to go over boots and potentially other clothing but they are DEFINITELY not sized for that. I ordered my normal size and they fit well but not room for anything underneath- leggings, hiking pants, etc. standalone would be fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these pants! You can’t really tell from the photo, but they are quite flattering and comfortable. I love the zippers on the pockets. I didn’t get to test it out in rain (it is too cold where I live at the moment) but I did wear these when it was snowing and I can confirm that it kept my skin dry and I didn’t get too cold. I have heard great things about the Marmot brand and this just confirmed to me that they make good quality products. I will definitely look into more clothing products from Marmot in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is difficult for me to assess these pants as they did not fit correctly. I typically wear an 8/10 in US women’s sizing and as such, I ordered a large. They are very snug across my hips as seen in the photo. I’d have to only wear leggings or nothing underneath in order to use them at all and given what they’re used for, I’d prefer being able to put them over other pants. The material is nice. And I like that they have zippered pockets. I like that the bottoms zip up to put on over boots, but I didn’t like that they didn’t have cinch-able bottoms. Felt like water could still splash up. And, then they cannot be used for wading in shallow water. They seemed nice but I couldn’t actually try them.
