It arrived great!! It is my first Kukri and it is awesome!! I have been using it like crazy!! A great addition to my other Cold Steel machetes. High quality, nice heft to blade without being too heavy…razor sharp edge nice.
The metal is good quality but the edge was very poorly sharpened- it was basically blunt/bent. It took me quite a while to sharpen myself to the point it would cut paper.
Just received a Royal Kukri Machete, looks great. But it is not sharp!!
Solid forward weighting which eases the effort of chopping when a leash is used. Still working on a way to vary the leach length to have the right slip then grip with and without a large coat. The grip is good but could be great.
I bought this item for clearing brush to set up hunting plots. It works great It is a mid grade carbon steel so it to a couple of chips but overall it performed very well for my uses. If you want it for heavy brush you might want to get one of there stronger steel blades. Overall it is good to have around and one of the best machetes I have purchased.
Great Kukri with long sharp blade. Blade was slightly overground. Good quality textured handle with hole for hand loop.
I have had this for 3 years now, and has been through the ringer out in the bush with me. It holds an edge very well, it's ergonomic and for the size and weight, it does not cause fatigue from constant use.
