I am 9.5 in shoes but I prefer a 9 in a heel leather boot for a snug feel if its a long narrow looking boot. Also to prevent creases if the leather stretches.The leather of these boots is soft, the heel is not to high & comfortable. I think I could of size down to made a 8.5 if I wanted to just wear a dress sock. I really like this boot and I would like to order another color. Not sitting shoes for sure!
