Are these the right color?

Two things stand out about this purchase, how much did I pay? The jewelry was on sale when I put it in my cart but the next day when I ordered it I didn’t look to see if the price jumped up and now when I looked at the item on Macy’s after giving it to my wife I saw it’s on sale again. The second issue is that I bought this set because it was one of the few real ruby pieces offered, unfortunately the stones are almost purple as opposed to ruby red. Is this reason to return for a replacement?
