THEY FIT MY WIDE CALF
Im impressed. the suede is lovely and soft. BUT THEY FIT MY CALF! Im petite. but have a right calf waayy too large for almost all tall boots. but in Alberta. theyre a must . Also i have a large bunion to deal with and. while ive not worn much yet. i think the 8 -my normal size- will break in enough to. make these comfy. the *.5 while better for bunion was too long overall and i couldnt find an insole that fixed.Still--- thrilled!

Perfect heel height
These boots are super comfortable and the perfect amount of heel. I could absolutely walk all over town in a heel like this. The wide calf option is perfect for a girl with short, strong calves and the boot doesn’t pucker at the ankle which is a huge win. I did listen to the reviews and sized up a half size. I am usually a 7, but I have wider feet and the 7.5 is perfect. I will say though, the pecan spiced leather is not so much brown as it is a deep burgundy. It’s beautiful! Just not what I was expecting.

Great style, bad color
The brown color was not good. Too much orange/red undertones for me. Exchanging for black but sent return through fedex over a week ago and still no follow up so not sure when to expect black ones

Didn't work out
I'm usually a 7 but sized up to 8 to wear with thick socks and to accommodate my wide feet. I tried on the shoes wearing thin crew socks and they fit snug on me, so I recommend you size up if you're similar! I did appreciate that the wide calf was definitely no problem for mine (my calves are 15.5" circumference).
I wasn't happy with the look of them, especially around the ankle area where it bunched up and sagged. I also noticed that I received them with spots which made me hesitant to order another pair of Sam Edelmans. If these worked out for you, that's great! It just didn't work out for me.
