I bought 5 each of the black and white since they are the perfect tank for me. I am short waisted so the slightly shorter length works for me. Also the straps are slightly long, so the extra small size worked best for me. For reference I am 5'4" and weight 140 pounds. I did notice some almost imperceptible wear after a first wash and dry, but I am hard on my clothing by washing and drying in the hottest setting of washer and dryer. So, if you baby the shirts by washing in cool and air drying, I would think these would always look as slick as when they were new. Highly recommend - but you might have to size down because of the longish straps.

not good quality and not made well for a medium
The shoulder straps are very large and slide down too much. The fabric is stiff and not soft. If I could take it back I would.

It had a chemical smell when it arrived, it's a smell I associate with things I have bought at a second hand store and I always thought they fumigated fabric items. Washed it once and still a trace left. Armholes a little tighter then I like and could get irritating with a lot of movement. Knit is a decent weight maybe a little on the thicker side.

Too short
While I find the fabric nice quality, the fit of the neckline and arm holes are questionable. Not a good fit for me. Perhaps most importantly to me the top is too short in length. Otherwise nicely made. Just too short and not a great fit around neck and arms.
