Great quality, but dinner plates too small.

I was hoping for a near match for my Gorham 1813 Boulder Creek bone china to add a few place settings. This seems to be as close as I can find. It is not white, but a very soft gray, so it is different but they will work together. The cups have decorative depressions at the base. They are translucent like my Boulder Creek but are at least china and not pottery. If you don't need a pure white, I would recommend these. I was previously able to match Macy's Hotel Collection to my Boulder Creek for pasta bowls, rimmed soup bowls , a small fruit bowl, and several serving pieces. I don't know if this gray color would be as easily matched to other accessory pieces. However, if this is all you need, it is a lovely set and should be very durable.

Durable, very pretty, elegant for a table setting, but strong enough to be used every day. Handles the dishwasher really well handles Family traffic very well.

I ordered 4 boxes of this dish wear because I needed 16 place settings. One bowl was cracked in half in one of the boxes. When I called customer service to exchange the box I was told it was no longer available. I was offered a discount but that doesn’t get me the replacement bowl. I am very disappointed.

Functional. Nothing glamorous. Inexpensive.

This is a wonderful dinnerware set. Each piece is beautifully crafted and high quality. The plates are the perfect size -- with a larger one for dinner portions and a smaller size for lunch or desserts. The bowls are a great size for cereal or soup. And, the mugs have a nice handle and are comfortable to hold. The white is a lovely shade, finished in a high shine that looks more like bone china than ceramic ware. These dishes are nice for everyday casual use or for a formal dinner. Each piece holds up to heavy use without getting scratched or chipped. And, you can wash them in a dishwasher! I highly recommend this set of dishes. They are practical -- and, they would make a wonderful (impressive) gift.
