Too good to be true. Ordered it without reading the reviews as I love Effy jewelry and when it came I saw from tags it is not as advertised, not 14K gold but rather 925 silver with gold plating. Macys needs to fix their advertising. I am returning it.

I love the stones they are beautiful but the description says 14k yellow gold. It's gold over silver! I feel like it's deceptive advertising. I am considering returning them.

The earrings are NOT 14k gold. It is instead 14k gold plated sterling silver.

The EFFY sapphire earrings I purchased were supposed to be 14K yellow gold. The ones that were delivered were set in SILVER plated with 14K gold. Macy's has a very strict return policy regarding removing labels and original packaging. Makes me wonder how many of your loyal customers you have ripped off this way. The only way I found out - on Valentine's day resulting in a huge disappointment for my wife - was the description on one of the tags in very small print showed it was gold plated silver. Funny thing, customer service knew as well when I provided the UPC code calling about the return. So you knew when you shipped it wasn't 14K gold though that is what it was advertised as on your website (and in this review). Shame on you Macy's. You used to have the reputation of an upscale brand one could trust. No more. Do Better.

They advertised it as Gold and it turned out to be silver. What a scam. It was a Valentine’s gift and it ended in embarrassment and disappointment.

I brought this earrings to my regular jewelry person. He checked the earrings as well as a couple of my pieces of jewelry. My items registered as 14K BUT the earrings from Macys was only SILVER with a 14k wash on top of it. Awful and deceiving! I can't believe Macys did this. Tell people it's only silver NOT 14k.

Buying these under the pretense the earrings are 14K is absolutely disappointing I’ve reread the description in the Effy packaging they came in and the jewelry box clearly marked “925” (mark for sterling silver) The actual earrings aren’t even marked The next clue was how light weight they are The earrings are very pretty and stones seem intact but not sure they are genuine either Not sure I’ll be keeping these… Even at the sale price
