They cannot be used in a microwave due to the gold trim. Does not say that in the website product description.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set serves four people and it is absolutely so beautiful. Now I understand why everyone’s grandparents have China that doesn’t get used. It’s too beautiful to risk it getting ruined.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Noritake china has been around more years than I can remember and this Tusker Garden design has beautiful colors of primarily blue with yellow and mauve. There is a whimsical elephant on the salad plate along with a circle of elephants on the dinner plate. Trimmed in gold gives this design an upscale look, yet perfect for everyday use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my first fancy design plate set and they are beautiful. They are heavy but not too heavy and you can tell they’re good quality. I love that they are dishwasher safe which makes them easier to clean in this household of 4! Having two different sizes makes it great for a variety of meals of various portions and each size comes with a beautiful design. They aren’t microwave safe but that’s ok. The bowl is great for soups!
