Donna Karan New York Women's Ruffle Front Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is so versatile, you can easily wear it with pants or throw it over a dress. The lightweight fabric drapes beautifully, and has just the right amount of stretch, making it both flattering and comfortable. Love that it came in black and it’s the right black that matches effortlessly with your closet. It’s such an easy way to dress up an outfit without being overdressed. Definitely one of those pieces you’ll reach for over and over again.

As usual as usual, Donna Karen black comes out with a great style and drape. They were out of my size so I’m gonna have to return and exchange it for a large as it needs to be a little roomie if it’s worn as a jacket. There is no closure in front so basically it’s a great piece for your wardrobe to drape over a sleeveless dress.

Black is the ultimate chameleon—effortlessly cool and easy to style with anything. It’s breezy, flowy, and gives you that chic, elevated vibe without breaking a sweat. I think I should’ve gone up a size since I’m a bit fuller in the bust, but hey, I love my clothes a bit loose, so that’s just my style. Overall, it’s a fabulous staple to have on hand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good cardigan, especially one with ruffle accents or flowy style. I received this Donna Karan Women’s Ruffle Front jacket in exchange for my opinion and I must say… I LOVE it. First off, I wasn’t sure about sizing but I think since this is oversized it fits well. I like a fitted silhouette from the side and back with a blousy look in the front and this is just that. For context, I am almost 5’10” and 165lbs with a rather large chest. I wanted something I could wear open and I feel like this was designed for that. I chose a size small and I am rather happy with the fit. If you want this to close more in the front though you will definitely need to stick truer to size. Normally I would wear a medium or large in a cardigan or jacket and a large to xtra large if I need it to close over my breasts. For the style I was going for I feel like this fits great and is comfortable and stylish. I could wear this to work in a more professional aspect or wear it with a funky or fun shirt or mid drift like in the photos I have attached to this review. The material itself is soft and very breathable. I wouldn’t necessarily consider the front sheer panels ruffles so much as large billowy lapels. That being said, it does creat a nice look. Also, due to the thin material this moves with you and also will be great when you don’t want to be too warm but would like to wear a coverup or cardigan. I would highly recommend this and think that the quality, style and fit of this jacket does live up to the iconic Donna Karan designer line.

The sheer fabric makes this stand out from other jackets and makes it feel more dressed up. It's very comfortable! Pretty high price point for what it is though. But I will continue to enjoy wearing this in the right setting.
