The website discription says the dishes are chip resistant and break resostant. It also says they are dishwasher safe safe. The dishes say hand wash only. Also the silver trim is crooked and specks of silver trim are on the whiteboard of cup.
Had to return dinnerware to store yesterday. It is not actually raised beading design, but is a film presumably heat pressed onto the porcelain, mimicking beading. If I had seen even a sample when I went to the store, I would not have purchased (no sample available at any store for me to look at). Also, at least one plate had a scratched imperfection in the design and I noticed a cup on which the rim design was not consistently applied. Poor quality!

Unfortunately I can’t rate the dinner set because I never received it. Still trying to get my refund it was scheduled to arrive on September 9 and was purchased on august 30. I don’t know what is Macys doing using third party delivery services this is second time my order was lost and left with headache calling customer service that is also not in USA so good luck you resolving anything. Very disappointed
The description indicates that these are dishwasher safe, but on bottom of the actual dishes it says it isn’t. Not sure which is true, but definitely frustrating as a customer.
Very pretty BUT NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Unfortunately, had to return. Macy's should update item description to avoid returns. All dishes clearly indicated "hand wash only".
Macy's website states this Regent Bead porcelain dinnerware is dishwasher safe; however, every single piece in the set clearly says "HANDWASH ONLY" on the back. One of the reasons I purchased this particular set for every day use is because it is dishwasher safe. But it's not. The last thing I want is to be handwashing loads of dishes day after day.
