These are truly women's size high top Chuck Taylors! These are not based on men's sizes, even though some models say 'women's'. I had purchased these from Macy's and am completely happy with them. I purchased a Periwinkle color that was available from Kohl's, and they looked like men's shoes even though the tongue tag said Women's. Plus the bottoms of the shoes had a '6' stamp - men's size! I won't be buying from them again. I have narrow feet, so the men's size will not work for me, too clod-hoppery. Just be aware some of the sizing is false. Buy from Macy's, they are reliable! Below are photos of my old pair, the Macy's shoe, and the other too-large shoe from Kohl's. The second photo is of the bottoms of the shoes, clearly showing the size difference.
