They are great for early learning. Each transparent jar comes with 4 bugs with the coordinating color inside. Can’t wait to continue to use these!

They are so soft, cute, and perfectly sized for little hands, which makes playtime fun and comforting for him. He enjoys matching the colorful plush bugs to their jars, and it’s been a wonderful learning experience helping him practice color recognition, problem solving, and hand eye coordination. The material is soft and gentle, making it safe for my grandson, and the jars are lightweight and easy for him to open and place the bugs inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family absolutely loved (receiving and playing!) with Kaplan Early Learning Sorting Color Bug Jars complimentary in exchange for our review. My 2-year-old enjoyed sorting the colors, but he especially liked pretending to put it in the wrong jar and saying “uh oh” wrong one! My 5-year-old and I used the bugs as math manipulatives. I taught her adding and subtracting but also adding 3 numbers. She loved the soft plush insects and it was a nice review of insects and colors. I will use the plush insects for a thematic sensory bin again in the spring! Easy to throw in the wash too! I would say this is an age-appropriate toy for ages 6 and under. Even infants will love the soft hand held insects. I can see a 6-12 month old enjoying being able to put the insects in and out of the jars. Great toy!

These are super soft and adorable, and much bigger than I anticipated however, the “jars” are plastic and don’t hold their shape very well so the lids don’t fit on great. They are wonderful learning tools and are super cute and safe for toddlers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little bug “jars” are so cute. They’re soft and small for little hands. Haven’t had to wash them but if placed in a laundry bag they’ll survive I think. Spot clean as necessary otherwise. So cute!

Not only are they so cute, they are so thoughtfully designed. They are super easy to clean and machine washable. The bugs are soft and there are no tiny pieces that could cause chocking hazards. The material seems very durable. I highly recommend to anyone with children of their own or working in a space with young children!
