It offers good protection including screen edge, so that if the phone fell face down the case would hit first. I've not dropped my phone to test out the case, but it feels like it would offer good protection.

This case so thin and minimal, yet it provides incredibly strong durability when it drops and daily wear n tear. It looks great and has a grippy bezel which makes for easier handling. I've never had any issues out of OtterBox cases and they e always protected my phones and kept them safe and sound. I love that the case is transparent so I can put pictures of my Grandson in it and people can see him. It's awesome. I feel this case will be more than enough to keep my phone from getting cracked or something.
