Cuisinart Espresso Bar Fully Automatic Machine EM-550

This is my third Cuisinart ACM and very different from the previous two, so it took me some time to get used to it, being of a senior age. I think it produces a better coffee. After some trial and error, my personal preference is a double expresso and topping up my mug with hot water from a separate dispenser.

Perfection- Fully automatic- Easy to clean- quick on the go and taste is amazing- Cuisinart did it again! Highly recommend it-

It came packaged safely and nicely and when I pulled it out of the package I was excited because it was more compact than I thought it would be. Easily assembled and the water tank is in the back which is helpful that it's built into the machine and not a separate piece sticking out. It has a touch screen and has many customizable functions, grinds the beans and it was very impressive and made great espresso. Would recommend for a decently priced machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed this is the first automatic coffee machine I have ever owned. It has a bean grinder and my coffee is always fresh. You can make espresso, double or single shot, and americano. You can also make iced coffee and it has a milk frother built in. The machine controls the temperature and the amount of coffee depending on what you select. It’s already all set. You can adjust the grind size accordingly to what you need. It’s easy to use. It comes with a base so you can have coffee in a large mug. The inside is easy to clean. The machine has removable parts to clean it. It has a waste basket to deposit all the coffee pucks. Overall, I loved the machine, although I wish there was option to customize the amount of coffee and the temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In short, two thumbs WAY up. For reference, I'm comparing it to my much more expensive, larger, manual espresso machine. I love that machine, but the whole reason I was interested in this one is to 1. Save space, and 2. Spare myself effort in prepping my morning drink. It has an internal grinder that requires no effort and works perfectly. It doses the espresso and pours shots straight into your cup without any tamping or fiddling. The steam wand is good, but note that there is no streaming pitcher included. The capacity of the bean and water reservoirs are surprisingly large for such a small machine. Two of my initial worries were cleaning and customization options (ground size, shot size, etc.) I'm glad to report that both of those are nonissues. The machine is easy to clean, and many settings are customizable. Do yourself a favor: sit down and read the whole manual before starting. This does easily 90% of what my 2x expensive machine does with half the effort. Really impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso machine is super convenient and easy to use. There is hardly any clean up to do, other than cleaning out the grounds once in a while. The foam consistency is perfect and very foamy, works wonders. Pour just the perfect amount of espresso beans— the machine will grind it up for you, and also dispose of it into the bin once it’s done. All you need to do is empty the bin! I did wish frothing wand was a little bit longer, but other than that I really have no complaints. Highly recommend to other if you’re in the market for something easy and simple.

I have an older model of the Cuisinart espresso machine, and the biggest flaw was the lack of platform for different sized cups. Without the platform, espresso would spill out everywhere but this simple add truly makes this machine amazing and comparable to many higher priced espresso machines.

We have utilized all of the features, and by far I am so happy that I can make my favorite cappuccinos and lattes at home now. I found the buttons and machine are very straightforward and not at all hard to clean which is important to me as a busy mom. We have made probably 30 drinks so far with this machine and are very happy with all that it can do. It’s sturdy, looks great, and will be a permanent fixture in our kitchen. It froths great too which is such a great feature to make your drinks more fun.

I love that it’s easy to put together and actually doesn’t take up a lot of room on the counter. I have already used it for Americanos and Espresso shots which can be made with just the touch of a button. The machine does everything for you. All you have to do is add water and beans. The espresso shots tasted amazing, just like at a coffee shop. I thought the Americano could have been stronger. I may need to change the beans I’m using. It’s very easy to clean as well and the instructions are clear. You can adjust the grind fineness as well as the temperature of your drinks. This machine is perfect for someone who wants easy espresso drinks.
