My husband gave this to me as a birthday gift with added meaning from health issues. It's a beautiful idea, but after one month of wear the necklace is very tarnished. He was under the impression that it was a gold chain. It's pretty, and very meaningful, but I'll probably look for a new gold chain for the pendent.

I bought three of these as gifts as i previously bought a heart necklace with the same gold from this designer.. ..they are pretty but VERY small for the price. Additionally the gold doesn't seem to go all the way to the back size giving the appearance that it hasn't actually been put back together. It was much smaller than it looks in any of the pictures including the one on the person

I received this as a gift, and while I love the concept, the silver piece was not broken, nor was it mended with gold to make it stronger. It looks like someone intentionally made it look distressed but it's not actually authentic to the practice of kintsugi.

I was excited to receive this as a gift from my wishlist, but when I opened it I was a little disappointed. The gold line is just a straight line and looks like a design choice vs the "broken" look of kintsugi. Additionally, I've only had it a month and it's starting to turn my neck green. Just not the quality I expected for the price.

My grandson is very interested in the Japanese culture and wants to visit Japan some day. I gave him this necklace for his 12th birthday and he loved it! He already knew about Kintsugi from his research of Japan, so this was the perfect gift. We had a conversation about how something does does have to be perfect to be beautiful! Thank you so much to the artist for creating this. It is very special and I recommend it as a gift for a special person in your life. It teaches a very meaningful lesson.
