Nespresso Vertuo UP Coffee and Espresso Maker by De'longhi

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously had a vertuo de longhi that was MUCH better quality. The overall function was better, the creme on the coffee was better and the machine in general was much better. The pod storage was larger and more durable ( the latest version has 4 different plastic pieces that fall apart when you remove it to empty) and the mechanism that punctures the pod seems to be messier. The previous one left no water or coffee drainage, but this new one is quite a mess when removing the pods.

Had machine ~2 months. Works great makes wonderful coffee. A little messy to empty capsule tray and clean up. I empty and clean machine every morning.

No doubt the machine makes a great tasting hot cup of coffee, BUT, that isball it does well. They capsule basin is a mess. It collects water, needing to be cleaned daily. My biggest complaint is when I brew a flavored coffee which I only like iced, the next cup of regular coffee tastes like the flavored. I do not like hot flavored coffee at all. It takes 2 full brews of regular capsules to rid the taste of the flavored. I am returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase this machine because I sent my pop+ with my son to college and thought I'd treat myself to an upgrade! So far I am really happy with it. Coffee comes out perfect every time. Does leave a lot more liquid in the catch container, but I usually clear mine out after every brew so it doesn't really bother me. The blue color is really pretty too!

I bought this machine about a month ago as an upgrade to my Vertuo Pop+ Deluxe....it is quieter (but still noisy) , easier to operate via the Smart App, coffee is hotter.....the only negative is the water collection in the pod capsule bin.....otherwise I am very happy.....note: if the wifi is disconnected you cannot do a manual cleaning, etc...(at least not that I have been able to find)
