The straps are comfortable. Overall, you could do better. This bag is more style than functionality. It still looks great, however. I was pleasantly surprised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is important to know what you’re getting if you’re considering the Tommy Hilfiger embossed flag backpack. Plain and simple, this is a fashion first bag that prioritizes and focuses on style over function and performance. The good news is that this is a nice looking classy bag to take from your car into the office and have in your work area but i would choose a different bag if you have to wear it for a long time or do any kind of activity in it. The bag does include a luggage pass through so the designers at least considered using this for travel and as long as you have the backpack strapped on to your luggage it would be fine actually. Another positive is the thoughtful inclusion of strap keeper bands that keep the shoulder straps nice and clean looking. Materials feel nice although to be clear this is a polyurethane (plastic) material. Zippers are rugged and maybe a little bigger and rougher than the bag really needs. The front pocket is actually a little bit sharp if you have to reach into it! Back panel and shoulder strap padding is ok but not great. Also airflow in minimal and will probably be an issue if worn for longer times. The negatives I would call out are a lack of interior organization and an overall heaviness and structure of the bag (although having a bag that can stand on its own is nice). The front pocket has no admin/organization at all, it is just a dump pocket so you might need to make use of external pouches, etc. The main interior area can be opened almost half way when entirely unzipped. There is a stretchy mesh pocket on the back wall, I guess for a very small laptop or more so for a tablet or notebook. It does not offer any protection other than holding the item in place. Otherwise the interior is wide open with no organization. It can hold a decent amount but the material offers very little give or take so the volume is the same whether you have it packed or empty. I would probably rate this closer for a 3.5 although for me I need a more robust backpack that offers better support, padding, organization and (personal preference) a different style. I would wait for a sale price if you are considering.

It's nothing crazy but it holds its shape when not filled. The dirabily has been fine and the zippers seem to work okay. Over all it's a fine bag if you like the style of it
