A little too small to fit a laptop but perfect size for a tablet. The material of this satchel is good quality, it holds form well but is not a hard material. There is flap over top that acts as a lid to the bag. Very easy to use and match to many type of outfit styles. Came in well packaged with protective material covering specific areas from wear or tear. This bag also uses a material that would be very easy to clean or wipe off to keep up with maintenance
