Travelpro Optima Medium Check-In Expandable Spinner and Packing Cubes

Although Travlpro has a top rating I didn't think the luggage was very sturdy. In addition it should be noted that the package did NOT include packing cubes.

Solid, mid-priced hardsided carry-on. I like the built in integrated compression panel. LIke most TravelPros, the secret is in roll of the wheels. I was on the fence between this and the Platinum Elite and I am glad I got this because I do not need the ability to charge from my luggage.

The zipper broke on the first use. I will not purchase again.

Love the expandable carry on. The size is why I bought this one. I’m a 79 year old female in good health who likes to travel. However, my strength is fading, and this is my check in case. A person should not carry more than they can handle! I also take a smaller international carry on size Travelpro and an underseater Travelpro. Love the brand. Handles are always easy to use. The wheels fantastically run smooth and straight. The outside materials used are super strong. I’ve never had a problem with them. The zippers have always worked smoothly and always appear very strong and well made. The inside is just fine and works great with compression bags. Overall, this is a perfect luggage. The only problem is the built-in locks. I can’t change the combination. It works fine with the default combo, but won’t reset. The tiny reset button will not depress. Oh well, I’ll just use extra locks. I still love the luggage.

It is a sturdy case with an easy ride, but with rain the contents of one side were completely soaked. Clothes were wet and unwearable for that day. Not the value I had expected from a new suitcase. In fact we purchased a 3 piece set and an additional carry on size and I'm questioning the wisdom of it.

Perfect travel companion! I ordered this luggage for an important 4-day trip in two weeks, and it arrived right on time. I'm so impressed with the carry-on! It’s durable, super spacious, and the compression features pack clothes down perfectly. It rolls like a dream through airports and has a fantastic locking system. Definitely a great purchase!

very lightweight, nice looking, nice interior

I was worried this would be too small for a checked bag but it worked out perfect! Not too heavy. The wheels and handle are incredible! Money well spent.

Great piece of luggage for a couple traveling for the weekend. Packing cubes came in super handy and makes it so easy to be organized while traveling. Zipper glides easily and appears to hold up to frequent open/closing of the suitcase. No issues with rolling the luggage from cab to hotel and easily maneuverable thru the airport and public transit. Expandable zipper section allows room for unexpected souvenirs during our travels. Would highly recommend for frequent travelers.
