I love Chanel No 5 - I have been wearing Chanel No 5 since I was 23 years old and I will be 77 in a couple of weeks. I have ordered at least 6 months to 12 months ahead of when I will start using the product. Never a mistake in any Macy order over the years until now. I happily opened my new Chanel ----egads it is green and it's Chanel 19. Oh my Lord it stinks - cannot return - order was received over six months ago and there is no hope for me. I trusted Macy's completely - but NEVER again. PLEASE get this order correctly filled. I will use this order VERY sparinglly.

I purchased Chanel No. 5 at Macy’s as a gift for my grandmother, as it has always been her favorite perfume. I decided to buy the largest bottle, thinking it would be a great investment, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. From the very first use, we noticed that the scent is only noticeable at the moment of application and then quickly fades away. It lacks the longevity and intensity we both remember. My grandmother even mentioned that it used to last much longer and had a stronger presence, which makes us question the quality of the product we received. Additionally, the in-store experience was not great. The sales associate did not provide guidance or offer any alternatives, and seemed uninterested beyond making the sale. Honestly, I expected much more from such an iconic and expensive perfume. I’m not sure if we received a defective batch, but I would not purchase it again under these conditions.

This was my first time buying a fragrance in a department store, I always get my fragrances from the brands website.The travel spray was clearly used. I opened it and the refill wasn’t full and there was fragrance droplets near the nozzle. The bottle was unused. I’ll keep it but I will never again buy anything expensive or any beauty product from a department store. Lesson learned and this beautiful fragrance is my reminder.

I bought this from Macy's thinking there's no way I would get a counterfeit but lo and behold the scent of the perfume I got was different from the sample they had and the smell fades completely after a couple hours.

This is my SIGNATURE fragrance. Chanel NEVER disappoints. This fragrance is CLASSIC, TIMELESS, and an ABSOLUTE TREASURE

I have been wanting Chanel for a month or so and my love purchased it for me as an early Mother’s Day gift today. This is my newest favorite, which I’m sure I’ll have to go get another bottle sooner than later. The fragrance is amazing and long lasting, not overpowering and sensual. This is a must for any. Collection.

A two day delivery has now been seven days and still no delivery. I do like channel 5 but I will never purchase anything from Macys online nor can I repmend Macys online to anyone.
