I wish that I had sized down because there is a large gap where my armpits are. I am petite with a very small chest and it appears the vest was made to accommodate a larger chest. If I went down a size, I'm not sure if it would be too short, but it probably would have fit better so I could wear it without a suit over it.

Too tight so I had to return. A medium would have probably been fine. Cost was a factor to not make the exchange

I viewed this vest online, and it appeared to meet my needs. After I received it, I could immediately tell that this vest was just right! I am so happy about that, because this was a last-minute purchase for a major event, and I really hoped that it would work out.
This is a lovely vest. Fine linen, very well made, very versatile piece. I am not keen on shiny buttons so changed them to vintage ones. Perfect vest.
I didnt need to get this tailored. It is not 100% linen but the feel is similar and gentle against the skin. I wore it in a professional environment. My suite stood out among the others. Make sure to get it pressed.
