Noritake "Silver Palace" Holiday Salad Plates, Set of 4

I have had these for years and I get so excited when I get to pull them out and show them off. They are beautiful.

Waited a couple of years for a price I could afford for these stunning Christmas plates. They are exactly as advertised. They are going to be displayed every Christmas on a wall plate display holder. If you can afford them at any price, they are gorgeously worth it.

My collection oddly started with my grandmother creating a gorgeous hand painted poinsettia Christmas dinner plate set. She willed it to my sister. In looking for a Christmas set that could come near that quality, I found the Platinum Silver Palace Christmas accent plates. After reading about Noritake I learned that their bone china has cow bone ash in excess of 30%. Compared to other brands, it is one of the best. The set also has the Silver Palace Accent Plate for Spring meals. I have the complete set of 8 with the accent plates and they are spectacular for serving. My only complaint is post covid, the patter is difficult to find to fill in the serving pieces.

The design looks cheaper in person. The tree ornaments have touches of blue and the detail is not nearly as pretty in person. Usually I find that to be the opposite with dishes. I was disappointed when I opened the box.

Festive & pretty!

I received the Noritake Silver Palace (8 place settings) for my wedding 20 years ago. I was so happy when I discovered that they still sell it. I added these holiday plates to my collection last Christmas and they're absolutely beautiful! They have slightly raised 3D ornaments on the Christmas trees. So cute!

These salad plates were even better than I imagined. They match my NORITAKE Lorelei china wonderfully, like I thought they would. I got my china 51 years ago! The Silver Palace design seems to be timeless like my china and very similar. They work together beautifully and I am so happy that I made this purchase. These plates have a timeless understated elegance and took everything up a notch!

After looking at countless patterns and investigating numerous companies, my husband and I chose Noritake Silver Palace for our wedding registry. Our pick was based on the look, feel, and overall quality of the pattern. We also liked that it is made in Japan. That was over two years ago and many of our family and friends have generously added to our set. Silver Palace was definitely the right choice. It is timeless, elegant,and simple without sacrificing the detail that makes it special. Every time I use it I am happy to be able to make meals a little bit more special for our guests.

This accent dish makes your table really stand out! The pictures do not do it justice. It adds the right amount of sparkle without looking childlike. I am really please with my set and the accent Christmas salad plate.
