Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones Cordless Vacuum

Compact light and very handy for cleaning our non carpet covered floors. The light on the front and back is very good at highlighting dust and spider webs.

I had no plans to replace my previous Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner as it still worked perfectly well. My daughter lives in the same apartment building as me. She's always borrowed my Dyson but recently decided she needed her own vacuum cleaner. She couldn't afford much and I was afraid she'd end up with a very basic model which didn't work very well. I suggested that I should buy a new one and she could have my current one, which she is used to, for s token price. I'm thrilled with my new Dyson. It's so light and easy to use. I liove the lights which are on the front and sides of the machine. I love the way it has a free-standing dock, with no need for drilling into into walls. I thoroughly recommend this vacuum to anybody who has hard floors. I haven't tried it on carpet because I don't have any.

The hardware design and functionality is fantastic. The need to download an app and then have to have precise location tracking turned on before you can download an update to the device software is shocking and totally unnecessary and unacceptable.

Such convenient to use makes quick clean ups a breeze

This product is a brilliant example of great design and workmanship. We have a smallish house with hard floors all over and a couple of woollen rugs. This vac cleans brilliantly, and the light really shows up the smallest dust and hairs. We’ve only had to use the eco mode so far. It also works well enough on the rugs.. So light and easy to manoeuvre, and quiet, it makes cleaning floors a piece of cake, or even a pleasure. My wife feels the same. And emptying it is easy and efficient. Powerfull suction and masses of run time. Overall, it’s brilliant if you can afford it.

Good manœuvrability Suction and running time and filtration

I absolutely love my new pencil vac. It’s incredibly light & extremely easy to move around I have arthritis and this is a godsend for me. The edge cleaning is wonderful & small and neat to fit in a corner of the kitchen ready to grab when necessary. I have a cat and fur is easily hoovered up now In and around all the furniture in the living room is so easy too lights both ways is great. I cannot recommend highly enough this wonderful little machine. Thank you Mr Dyson.

I bought this vacuum two weeks ago, and very happy it was shipped and delivered after 2 business days. Was easy to assemble and proudly have it on display. Been using it almost every other day, and always trying to find a reason to take it off its charger. It glides easily on hard floors and very manoeuvrable, like a magical broomstick. Makes my V15 Detect Absolute feel clunky and heavy in comparison. The downside is the battery life, 25-30 min run time, but that’s expected with Dyson batteries. Wish the device was slightly longer, and had a handle like the WashG1. Having to wash the filter and waiting for it to dry prevents daily use. Might buy an extra filter to solve that issue. Not meant for heavy duty jobs, more for lightweight tasks, like dusting/sweeping. Stairs are no longer a hassle for me.
