Well, if the goal was to make this no longer smell like lemon verbena, you have succeeded. I'm really disappointed in the new scent and packaging - I assume the new stuff is cheaper. I'll no longer be purchasing from this company.

I hate the cost cutting (for them) changes the company has made to this product. The scent is unpleasant and no longer smells like lemon. Packaging is boring and cheap. I'll be looking elsewhere!

L'Occitane appears to be changing or discontinuing all of the best products. First the best bubble bath in the world was discontinued (Verbena foaming bath). Next the lovely creamy shea hand soap became watery and thin - instead of thick and luxurious. Now the verbena shower gel has a quite noticeable faux scent - in fact with the new packaging they literally added the word "perfume" to the title. And voila! It now has a cheap perfumey smell instead of the original natural verbena scent. This is commodification of a long established brand that used to represent high quality, natural body care. Why???? I imagine cost cutting and increasing profit - and this is very sad. Such a shame. It used to be so good. I'll be discontinuing my subscription.

I've used this for decades and loved this product so much. I cannot believe that you would changed the product and smell or formula to both to this body wash as well as the verbena lotion :(

I first used this shower gel while at a lodge in Canada and fell in love with it. The scent is amazing so I was happy to get more.

Pleasant smell, light lather...just wish it lathered up a little more and especially wish it had a little stronger, longer lasting scent. Sadly, the scent is gone minutes after a shower.

Love this shower gel. The smell is refreshing and leaves you skin smooth and feeling clean. The smell is the best - not too much perfume. The suds last and a little amount goes a long way.
