Compact, relatively fast, and sharp
Great combination lens - macro, short tele, portraiture. And nice and light too. Images appear very sharp so far.

Excellent addition to the S prime line-up
I purchased this lens as soon as it came out and it's nothing short of extraordinary. It combines macro capabilities with exceptional image quality. The bokeh is very pleasing and I just can't get over how small it is. Earnt its place in my bag.

An excellent compact, light, versatile macro!
Impressed with how light this macro is and a welcome addition to the L-Mount family. Not just for macro either, I have had some lovely portraits and landscape frames out of this lens which means it's now always in my bag. Quick to focus too from close to infinity (rarely need to use the focus restriction switch) - very pleased with my purchase! :)

Smallest, Lightest and fastest macro lens
This is by far the smallest and lightest and fastest focusing macro lens I have ever used. I am moving from Sony and used to the long and very slow and somewhat unreliable AF 90mm G lens with mechanical manual focusing. Changing to the Panasonic 100mm macro is day and night. Ok, the material of the Sony lens is better as it is made of metal but that also made it much heavier. The mechanical manua focus clutch on the Sony lens is nice but with the fast and reliable Panasonic macro lens, I don't really need the manual focus clutch anyway. The last point is that the Sony lens has OSS stabilisation but my S5II has built in probably nest IBIS in the market, so I don't really need the OSS in the lens. What a killer lens.

Initial images are very encouraging
This has been used for food photography and all images look sharp. Focus quick. The best bit is the compact size

Perfectly sized macro lens
It is my first ever macro lens. I am amazed how well it fits size wise rest of my Lumix S lenses. Sharpness, portability, reliable autofocus are main strengths.

Versatile Compact Macro Lens
This macro lens is a marvel of optical design. It renders stunning image quality but compared to the competition it is compact and lightweight. Build quality is the same as my other Lumix S lenses, that is to say excellent. Versatile lens which I use for portraits and macro work.

Fabulous lens
Brought this lens on a whim but so glad I did. This now sits in my bag as it's great on woodland and the macro capabilities on mushrooms and flowers. Can't wait for spring!
