Not only is this bowl beautifully designed with an artisanal finish (meaning there's no two alike), it's also hand-dipped in glaze with a porcelain finish. What's even more unique about this Kikko serving bowl is it's meaning, the shell design is reminiscent of a tortoise and the pattern signifies good fortune. It's dishwasher and microwave safe. Kikko is the perfect addition to any kitchen. I want more.

The overall design character reminded me of my family meals with heaping bowls of rice with side dishes. The subtle details in the texture made the ceramic so elegant. The bowls were deep/generous with a sturdy weight. I waited for a cooler day to prepare my favorite dumpling soup. Cleaning was a snap. Soap and water with a gentle scrub was all it took.
