My first time trying this perfume. I have had multiple comments, from women, who love the scent. I love it too. Not overpowering and actually lasts. Lovely fragrance. Would recommend.

This fragrance is fancy. It smells so good. It's a perfectly balanced scent, and my husband cannot stop coming up to me, and inhaling deeply, saying "you smell SOOO GOOOOD! ”

Luxury at first spritz! I was very surprised w a tart sweet scent. I assume its the strawberry note in this .. it starts to dry down and evolve quickly. My husband said ooh what is that? Huge plus.. It goes into floral, very slightly to me and heads down to a final creamy musk that lingers for a long time . 2 small sprays on my wrists were still there 8 hrs later. Definitely is a I want to smell like a luxe rich person which Balmains name already gives.. almost a mature scent. I also think a man cld get some wear w this it does have a woody /sandalwood finish .. for me I wld wear late fall into winter and early spring if you are scent sensitive.. I wore this scent on a humid 85 degree day..it lingered really long and melted into a sexy musk ..No headache huge plus.wish I received the bottle because it is georgeous and meant to be left out for the world to see! Feels refreshing, received lot of compliments

First off, I want to say I love all things scent. I love to try new fragrance, men's women's and unisex. I was excited to be able to try Destin de Balmain. The key notes are natural strawberry , peony accord and sandalwood accord. It gives a fruity floral body with patchouli undertones. I wore this on a weekend during the day, having sprayed in the morning. You only need a tiny bit because this is a parfum, it attaches and lingers all day; I was still smelling myself long into the evening. I wear mostly on the weekends since I work in an office and people can be sensitive to certain smells, I get to try a new scent every weekend. I received this perfume for free to try. I wasn't really that big on the smell. It was to strong for me.. not saying it was horrible smell. But way to strong for my liking.
