Ricardo Montecito 3.0 Medium Check-In Spinner Suitcase

I have owned an almost identical Ricardo spinner suitcase and, for the past 13 years, it has served me as a checked bag for international and domestic travel. It has been my favorite bag; perfect for a 7–10-day trip. All of the handles, the zippers, the wheels are built to be strong. The pockets and expansion zippers are helpful. After all these years it still looks great. Sadly, the wheel rubber has finally started to crumble -- understandable, it has seen many cobblestone streets. I'd have contacted Ricardo about replacement wheels but no longer recall the model number. I was glad to see Macy's selling its twin. I've purchased and am thrilled to find the twin has the same high quality!

The Ricardo Beverly Hills Montecito 3.0 is about as perfect a suitcase as I could ask for. I love the any direction spinner wheels, the tsa lock, and the various areas to pack. But I especially love the second packing compartment. It is large enough to fit my belongings, allowing my spouse to use the rest of the suitcase, and it makes it easy for us to share one suitcase. It is easy to move, easy to zip, and easy to pack and unpack. It has relieved any stress of packing for a trip. I would very highly recommend this luggage to anyone who is contemplating a luggage purchase. You won’t regret it!

Running through the airport and the flight did not damage the luggage at all. My items were protected and even my perfumes were safe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this suitcase! It is easy to use and very spacious. I like that it has the divided compartments and straps to secure items inside. The pockets are also helpful. I’ve never used a suitcase with a lock on it but it’s a nice feature we are going to try out. I’m normally a hard shell luggage person, so we will see how this holds up on our trip in a few days. I’m a little skeptical about how well the fabric will hold up since the airlines are so rough on everything. But overall, I’m very impressed and looking forward to using.

To start, I love the green, durable, water resistant material it's made of. There are 4 large exterior pockets with a huge interior compartment. An adjustable compression strap makes packing easy. The zippers are all heavy duty that zip and unzip with ease. It has a built in TSA approved lock that is easy to personalize. There are 2 handles, both padded. A standard handle on top and a 2nd one on the side which makes loading in and out of the car easier. The telescoping handle glides up and down as it should making pulling it through the airport a breeze. The 360° rotating wheels spin smoothly. Whether pulling with the telescoping handle or holding the top handle, rolling through the airport is almost effortless. My frequent flights to see family has become easier now that I'm not struggling through the airport with my luggage!

I was able to fit 2 weeks worth of outfits and two pair of shoes with no issue. The quality of the luggage is great and the wheels move smooth and ease.
