After years of being frustrated with inexpensive digital thermometers, this one is a pleasure to use. The readout is nearly instant and is MUCH more accurate. Steak and fish have come out to the precise desired doneness. The thermometer is larger than my old ones and feels solid but not heavy. It is easy to handle, easy to read and easy to clean.
This is a very high quality thermometer for recording food temperature. I used it to test the temperature of a frozen stew which was being reheated. The thermometer is easier to hold with a long enough tip. The reading was perfect. Highly recommended

The Maverick pro temp professional thermocouple thermometer super easy to use pulled it out. The package wiped off the thermometer tip and inserted it into my pork chops. I have been slow cooking in the oven. The display is super bright very easy to read. You don’t have to press a bunch of buttons, this is my first time owning a meet the thermometer, and I don’t know why I didn’t use one in the past definitely gonna be checking the internal temperature of my meat going forward.

Great professional grade heavy duty thermometer. Easy to use and has a handy guide for proper meat temperatures on the front. The needle flips out and automatically turns on - if you keep it open it turns off automatically to save battery. (You'll need to reclose and then open it to turn it back on. ) It was extremely accurate and the heavy duty material is very durable. Perfect for all of your grilling needs.
