Never compromise when you have it right
I have been working as a general surgeon for thirty years. During residency I went through a pair of sneakers every six months. I bought this style of mephisto back in 1992 and have been living in them ever since. I get about a decade per pair before I need a new one. If you don’t get it—then buy the swoosh. Lol.

Fantastic loafer, well worth it!
This is my fourth purchase of this loafer. I have owned both the brown and black versions. My first two lasted a decade, even though I wore them frequently. Comfort and style are perfect! I am excited to see that the build quality has only improved over time. There is a very significant benefit to investing in Mephisto shoes!

Black Loafers
Shoe size runs a little big and had to return the first pair for a half size smaller which was a great fit. Wears like all my Mephisto shoes which are the only shoes I wear. Very comfortable.
