Intex ZX100 Automatic Pressure Side Swimming Pool Cleaner w/Hose and Converter

I have been using this vacuum for a few years and I love it. I travel quite a bit so it’s perfect to have attached and know that it runs whenever the pool pump is running. No charging. I don’t get too much leaves in my pool unless it’s fall time, so during the summer in can go a week or two without cleaning out the debris chamber. It gives me great piece of mind. What it doesn’t pick is blown into the corners of the pool and I use a net to get that out. But it really does vacuum almost everything. And I don’t have to worry about charging it. I just wish they sold replacement hose for it. After a few years mine has a hole in the hose. I’ll just get another vacuum.

This does not work anywhere near as well as the previous one did, why did you change it so much?

The vacuum works to stir up silt and debris on the bottom. In our case,we had a nasty dust storm and I needed the pump to run constantly for a couple days. The vacuum, no matter how tightly we screwed it in, would spin around and unscrew itself from the outlet after 5-6 hours - every time. Every time I came home and checked on it, it was unhooked.

I bought this product, for the most part it does work, but it states that it picks up dirt, this us incorrect, it does not. Just moves it around.

Easy to use and clean. Not as effective to remove heavier debris than a prior cordless vacuum I used, but easier in that it doesn’t need charging.

Bought new model thinking it would be better but you turn it on and it immediately stops and gets stuck on the sides of the walls and doesn't move. It is a circle pool and level and there should be no reason it stops.

Worked great when i got it in may..but its now july and im having to replace it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ZX100 Auto Pool Cleaner looks like a lovely little pool-cleaning beast but lacks its primary function. After connecting it to my play pool and letting it run, I found that it did not do a great job of picking up debris at the bottom of the pool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very pleased with how well this pool cleaner works. It is so easy to hook up, and disconnect. It attached to the outlet of your pool, instead of in the inlet, which is very unique. I was skeptical because of this but Wow, it really got my pool floor spotless! There is a screened in debris holder under the unit which is super easy to take off and on and sprays clean. It collects bugs, leaves, even tiny twigs with ease. I let it run for an hour, emptied it and ran it for another, and it was done. I am very impressed with how well this works! However, it is not made "for most pools", as reviews on the internet claims. The pamphlet specifically states it is made only for Intex filter pumps, which I do not have anymore. I have a very common brand name above ground pool filter and pump, luckily, the hardware store helped me finagle an adapter which worked perfectly, but I would not recommend this unless you have a Intex filter pump.
