All-Clad Simply Strain Stainless Steel 6-quart Multipot with Straining Lid

This is a great pot to have in your kitchen. Excellent for cooking pasta, broth, soups.

We had an older one of these that we loved. It came with two different sized strainers and was quite robust. We recently got an induction stove and the old one was not induction-compatible, so we purchased this one. Unfortunately the quality has really gone down hill. The steel is quite a bit thinner than the old one and it lacks one of the strainers/steamer inserts that the old one had. This is not a bad product, it's just that it's so much poorer quality than the old one. The dimensions have changed just enough as well that it's a bit less useful. It's fine for what it is, just not great. All-Clad is certainly cutting back on quality.

I love the size, is perfect for cooking a big batch of food for my family! Quality is great!

This All-Clad pot arrived from Macy's Online in a Macy's box and also in it's correct manufacturer's packaging - not sealed. The pan has water rings around the inside perimeter, a scorch mark on the inside bottom of the pot, water marks all the lid and water marks all over the bottom of the pot. It's obviously been used and returned.

I bought this for my son who is establishing his first apartment. He LOVES it! Easy to make pasta and strain with the included colander. Very nice.

Fan of all things all All-Clad - Have an older one that is more tall/narrow and this one more squat/wide, which makes i more versatile and better for steaming

Perfect to make bone broth and so much more. Quality is certainly there!!

Works well, but it’s not a D3 edition like the rest of my set!

I previously owned a similar pot but the lid was not tight fitting and it was actually dangerous when pouring out boiling water. This All-Clad pot and lid fit together well and safely.

I bought this probably 10 years ago when it was labeled Pasta Pot. I have discovered that it is perfect for homemade soups like chicken noodle or vegetable beef. The strainer keeps the beef shank/bones or chicken bones, onion, garlic, bay leaves, sprigs of thyme or rosemary separate from the broth. Just remove the strainer, add vegetables & meat to the broth. Perfect & so much easier than pouring contents through a metal strainer into a separate bowl and then back into pot to finish.
