Cuisinart Classic 12-Cup Stainless Steel Percolator

This is our 3rd Percolator over about 12 years. The one we received is the same model, but the quality is worse than our other two. The metal interior parts are not as heavy and feel cheap. We consistently have coffee grounds in our coffee even when using a wrap-around coffee filter. We only had that issue if we were making a full 12-cup pot in our old percolator.

I’ve been a cuisinaut customer for many years and the products have been excellent but this last percolator fell apart. The base separated from the stainless steel frame causing a spark and all wires were exposed. The product is defective! Not happy with the poor quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful design and vintage appearance however after a handful of times being used the bottom fell out. Looks as though the plastic parts warped or melted that held it together.

Same problem as many other buyers. We expected a quality appliance, and ended up with a cheap broken plastic top piece. It’s out of warranty so my only choice is to buy a part. Love the coffee maker, not happy with the design flaw

Excellent quality, makes great coffee.Cuisinart products I have purchased over the years have always been high quality, performed well and last a long time.

Finally, a great cup of coffee. The taste is much better than other coffee makers. It is easy to use, to clean, and to store.

Would not recommend, the first one I ordered didn't last a year. The second I ordered did not work so I returned.

We wanted a completely stainless steel coffee maker to avoid plastics. It is impossible to keep the grounds out of the coffee.

This was a good purchase. Enjoy the ease of use and the great tasting coffee it makes. Definitely recommend Cuisinart.
