Unlike typical boat shoes which have harder soles, these McGuffey 2's have a very comfortable sole and insole so they were a pleasure to wear from the first day. High quality leather and craftmanship make them my new favorite shoe.

These are my new favorite boat shoe! Very stylish and comfortable. They have XC Foam on the midsole. Rawhide laces that can be easily swapped out (don’t have to fish through eyelets around shoe). Johnston and Murphy, please don’t discontinue or change anything.
Nice shoe however not a replacement for the discontinued Holden Wingtip! Hands down the most comfortable Johnston & Murphy shoe, very close to. 0 drop, easy on my knees.

Once again JM shoes fit comfortably right out of the box. If you plan on were socks I’d definitely go up a half size as they are tight.

I bought these about 1 month ago and once broken in they are very comfortable. Great support and I usually wear them for daily use with no socks and shorts for the summer.
Like most J&M products this shoe is made well, wears well and is sharp looking
