Lotus Professional Series The Sous Multi-Function Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This Lotus Multi-Function Cooker and Dutch oven is a beast of a kitchen tool. It single handily was my sous-chef for prepping and making Thanksgiving dinner, along with many other meals. Its multiple settings include slow cook like a standard crock pot, sauté/sear which I found myself using mostly, rice cooker, sous vide, meal timer/manual function which is also helpful. I’ve made couscous, rice and multiple chicken dinners, seared veggies, made stock and kept my mashed potatoes warm while I finished Thanksgiving dinner. This machine has a lot of power and functionality while looking quite professional and high end. My only complaint is the size/weight of it, with all that power and functions come parts to hoist and overall it’s a bit large for simply keeping out on my counter so I keep it tucked away. Without having proper space for this machine I can see it being hard to keep around, luckily I have the room. Overall this new Lotus brand seems to know what they’re doing and I would love to try more of their products in the future.

I love the large control display and multifunction options — it feels like a high-end, versatile kitchen tool. Can’t wait to test it in my cooking routine!

It looks sleek and modern on my countertop with its stainless steel design, and it’s incredibly easy to use. The controls are intuitive — just set the program, press start, and let it do the work. I’ve used it for slow cooking, sautéing, steaming, and rice, and everything comes out perfectly cooked every time. The lid seals nicely to keep moisture and flavor in, and cleanup is simple since the pot is nonstick and easy to remove. It’s become my go-to appliance for family dinners and meal prep. I love that I can also sauté in it or slow cook like I would in a crockpot. This has become our main cooking vessel! So easy to use and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying I was a bit hesitant at first with it having so many features, I thought, no way they can all be good. But boy, was I wrong! We started off with something simple like rice, and I’ve had plenty of rice cookers in the past all of them were horrible. When I tell you this made the most perfect, consistent rice I’ve ever had at home, I was beyond impressed. I can’t wait to try out everything else. Definitely a new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this thing, it takes the guess work out of cooking and replaces using multiple pans when cooking a meal. The searing function is great and can switch right into slow cooker mode. I have a few recipes that require searing meat and then slow cooking the rest of the day and all of it can be done in this. I didn't get any burning or over cooking and my meals have come out perfect every time. The pot is stainless steel so it can also go into the oven if the recipe calls for that, and it also is very easy to clean, nothing has stuck to the pan. The only setting I haven't tried is the Sous Vide as I'm not familiar with that cooking method, but I do plan on giving that a try. I think this is a great all in one kitchen appliance!

On of the things I like about this cooker is it's ability to cook something till it's tender. We cooked some chicken on it and loved the fact that we didn't have to worry about it too much. It's one of those set it and forget it. It's safe to use and easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore my new Lotus the Sous Multi-Function Cooker with Tri-Ply Dutch Oven! The Lotus multi-cooker has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I especially love the multi-functional versatility! I’ve used it for cooking rice, slow cooking, sous vide, and braising, everything has turned out beautifully. The sous vide feature is surprisingly accurate and easy to use, even for someone like me, who is new to it. The Tri-Ply Dutch Oven is phenomenal. The heat distribution has been incredibly even, and it sears like a dream! I’ve used it both in my oven, and in the cooker. I love that the lid and Tri-Ply Dutch Oven are oven safe up to 450 degrees. I also love that the lid is designed with an opening to fit the probe through. Cleanup is also super convenient. I just pop The 7-quart, tri-ply stainless steel Dutch Oven and glass lid right into my dishwasher. Overall, Lotus really nailed it with this product. There are only a couple things that may not work out for everyone. One, this machine takes up a bit of counter space, it works well for me because I'm putting it where my rice cooker used to be. Second it is very heavy, but that is exactly what I expect from such a high quality appliance. It’s sleek, intuitive, and genuinely makes cooking more enjoyable. I’m finding myself experimenting more in the kitchen, and I look forward to using it for cooking meals. I Highly recommend it!
