I bought this in a size 6, which is my normal size. It fits more like a size 4. It’s too tight through my ribs and waist so I can’t wear it. The fabric is beautiful and I do love the dress though.
It's a beautiful dress, which I tried on in one size and ordered in a smaller size. The one I ordered was still too large and I returned it, but the dress was lovely and the price was good. Cheaper online than in the store. It came more quickly to my home than estimated, by at least five days, and the shipping was free. Returning to the store was easy too.
I like the material, but it's ironed in such a way that the pleats lay very awkwardly. I sized up one size since the description mentioned that it sizes small. Unfortunately, I was still at least 2-3 inches away from being able to zip it up around my ribcage. It fit very small through that area. I bought it as a Last Act Final Sale, figuring that if I could wear it, one of my daughters could. Unfortunately it doesn't fit either of them either. It's also very long. I'm 5'5" and would probably need a 2 inch high hem with heels. Overall, it's just not what I hoped for.
