Beautiful and Comfortable!
The Hester Platinum is beautiful and insanely comfortable. I normally wear a size 10 and the 40 was perfect. The Platinum color is beautiful. It is actually a pale slightly shimmery champagne color and is complemented by gold buckles. They're really pretty and just get more comfortable each time I wear them. Like others have noted, the leather is fairly stiff out of the box and strap across the foot might take some time to soften, but it's worth it. They feel like heaven when I put them on and they look really attractive on my feet.

Beautiful Hester
I’ve owned Mephisto and Birkenstock and prefer Mephisto for my slightly narrow feet. The Hester in platinum is a beauty. To me, it reads as a soft neutral gold. Not super shiny or flashy. The buckles are gold and blend beautifully with the leather. I did have to use an emery board on the sharp edges of the leather straps where they touch my toes. They are a little heavier than my Helen sandals. Beautiful quality product. Thanks!

Hester!!!
Hesters are the absolute best sandal that Mephisto has ever made. I get so many compliments on them especially with the gold hardware and people always think they’re Birkenstocks and I just explain to them that they are better with way more arch support.
