I loved it until I found a big tear on the side while wearing it a week after purchase. So embarrassing walking around with my thigh exposed. I love Eileen Fisher clothes and normally there’s never been an issue so I just hope this one pants is flawed.
These pants have quickly become a favorite. They are so soft and flowy. I am thankful I found them even it was late in the season. I am excited to see how they feel in Hawaii next summer.
When I tried the pant and top on I loved both, fit great & super, super soft. After wearing both for only a couple hours, they stretched out so much they looked silly. All closed stretch out after a wear but this was a LOT. I took the pants into EF to be recycled, I'll try to wear the top again and see if it retains its shape.
These pants are so comfortable in hot weather not only because of the wonderful light weight material but also because they are loose and a bit flowy so they don't cling to your legs when it is hot. They are a fabulous summer pant. I also bought the matching shirt which is also great for warm weather.
These trousers are stylish and comfortable, but the fabric is simply too delicate—it is completely unsuitable for a garment. The material snagged and tore the moment it brushed against a supermarket shopping cart! It is incredibly frustrating. The fabric is paper-thin and impossible to repair. I own many Eileen Fisher pieces, but the fragility of this particular fabric is absurd. It has been a disappointing waste of money; plus, since I bought them a few years ago (even though I’ve taken excellent care of them), I likely can't return them now. I saw a review from another customer today and could really relate to her experience.
These pants are very poor quality and not your typical Eileen quality!
I recently purchased the wide leg gauze pant in both colors along with coordinates. Very soft material and lightweight certainly a hot weather wear. I am normally a petite medium in pants but after receiving the pants in that size I found them to be slightly snug not in the waist but hips. I questioned if the material would change with wear , relax or stress the seams. I decided to reorder to avoid any pulling at the seams and order the large petite . This size is a better fit ,loose in the hips and flowy in the legs adding a very casual look but not sloppy or having the look of pajamas. Added note navy in the petite M was so slightly smaller than the chalk in the petite medium. In the petite large the sizing is the same in both colors.
The fabric is lightweight and soft, and the stripe is on the subtle side, not to pronounced. Very flexible to combine with different tops.
Torn on first ware!!! The caftan and the pant ripped on the seam on both sides. Ridiculous the cost to the craftsmanship.
Casual, sophisticated, easy summer top that pairs with jeans, shorts or Eileen pants. Great travel piece that works with just about everything in the suitcase
